President Robert Mugabe’s troublesome last born son, Bellarmine Chatunga, is reportedly giving the first couple a torrid time, as he has fallen into alleged alcohol abuse, owing to stress over his mother, Grace Mugabe’s health woes, The Telescope News is reporting from Vancouver!
Grace is suffering from alleged colon cancer, which has resulted in her having to drop ambitions of becoming a legislator and cabinet minister, possibly of defence, to consolidate power in what many view as a Mugabe dynasty in the making. There are unconfirmed reports, that Chatunga’s elder sister, Bona Nyepudzai nee Chikore, is now secretly being railroaded into politics to help the Mugabes, to maintain an influential grip on political power, as both Grace and Mugabe are appearing increasingly incapacitated to continue running the show.
Chatunga is now said to be very rude, and uncontrollable, as he has refused to concentrate on his education, despite having secured illicit unconditional offer letters from Asian institutes, to study architecture, although he does not merit the entry requirements.
Mugabe’s son, is believed to be in favor of a move to Europe for his studies after high school at St John’s in the capital, and disappointed that he cannot study there owing to targeted sanctions on his parents, who are both barred from venturing into Western capitals due to concerns, over human rights abuses in Harare by Zanu PF’s misrule.
The Mugabes last born child, is speculated to to have found academic places in the Netherlands, France and Finland, but all is in vain as the European Union has not lifted travel sanctions on his father and mother, which affects him indirectly our informants said this week.
Bellarmine, according to other sources close to the first family , has also become a gaming addict, and is said to be blowing a fortune on purchasing games, such as his favorite, “Grand Theft Auto”, which pre-occupies his day time, as he spends most of it with his friends gaming at the President’s plush official residence in Borrowdale, when he is out of the country.
Grand Theft Auto is an action-adventure video game series created by David Jones and Mike Dailly. The name of the series references the term used in the USA for motor vehicle theft.
Grace has also admitted that Chatunga, spends too much time playing computer and video games during a rare documentary about the Mugabes, by Dali Tambo, for People of the South recently.
Chatunga is also alleged to be harassing security aides, and going about driving without a license.
“The young Mugabe has gone gangster,” said our informant. “He has just become uncontrollable due to alcohol abuse and stress over the mother’s poor health condition. As if not enough, he sometimes drives himself to school, without his security detail, who have to catch up with him, thereby compromising his safety. Bellarmine does not have a drivers license.”
Six years ago, Chatunga brought shame to Mugabe, by failing his Grade 7 examination, after scoring 14 points at Hartmann House School, the prep school for St Georges College. In 2013, Bellarmine got expelled from St Georges College, for alleged “acts of gross misconduct” including bullying teachers.
Mugabe has openly registered his anger and concern for Chatunga and his older brother, Robert Junior’s bad habits, and poor academic performance, while heaping his favourite child Bona with praises. Bona has done well, and holds a Masters degree.
Last year leaked photos of Chatunga, enjoying wild parties with girls and drinking went viral on social media. In some of the pictures he is shown smoking what appears to be marijuana.
