A WORKER at a mine in Zvishavane died when his head was blown-off by explosives that he had set for blasting rocks in a mine shaft.
The incident occurred at Nipo Syndicate Mine last Friday at about 12 noon. Police identified the workers as Mr Clemence Tusile (33), of Highlands, Zvishavane. Midlands police spokesperson Inspector Leonard Chabata said Mr Tusile died on the spot.

 A FORMER chief teller with the First Banking Corporation (FBC) was slapped with a five-year jail term last Friday for defrauding Zimpapers of over $30 000 in a well-organised scam dating back to September 8 last year.

United Family International Church (UFIC) founder Emmanuel Makandiwa (pictured) has threatened to walk on Kariba waters to confound those who doubt his powers. Makandiwa made the claim three weeks ago just before he jetted out to the United States.

BIG Brother Amplified (BBA) winner Wendall Parson has taken a local firm Nu-Aero trading as Fresh Air to court over a $21 500 debt after the latter allegedly failed to pay him for services rendered.

After scooping the award in 2011, Parson was allegedly approached by Matipedza Karase who was cited in court papers as the first respondent, representing Nu-Aero, to be the firm’s brand ambassador.

The wife of one of Europe's most powerful politicians has been pictured shaking hands and smiling with Zimbabwe leader, Robert Mugabe.

A lamb has been born with two heads at Borborbor, a village in the Western Region of Ghana.
Eyewitness, Bernard Sackitey, said the black and white two-headed lamb was born beside a spare parts and general goods dealer’s shop called Sackious Ventures.
The two-headed lamb has four limbs and one tail like every normal lamb, but has two fully developed heads.
