Gospel songstress Mercy Mutsvene could be on her way out of her third marriage following reports that her relationship with politician and businessman Tongai Nheta has hit its lowest ebb.
Investigations carried out by The Standard Style showed that Mutsvene was no longer romantically involved with Nheta, who is alleged to be customarily married to another woman. The revelation conflicts with the musician’s sentiments last week where she claimed someone could have hacked her Facebook account and posted falsehoods on her wall, exposing a strained marriage.
The supposed faux pas has opened a Pandora’s box after a source divulged the union was water under the bridge as Nheta paid a bride price for one Zandile Mhlanga.
“They are divorced but are still staying together. Nheta paid lobola for Zandile late last year,” the source said.
