The well-loved Top Gear presenter has caused another Twitter furore with his announcement on Monday that he has named his black dog Didier Dogba

Jeremy Clarkson is not one to shy away from controversy.
His latest antics involve his Twitter announcement on Monday that his new black puppy would henceforth be known as Didier Dogba, in a tribute to the Ivory Coast and Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.

Now, his intention may have been good as, perhaps, a tribute to the well-known footballer but it caused a massive commotion on Twitter with even British TV personality Piers Morgan responding with the tweet “I’m going to buy a fat, ugly dog and call it Jeremy Clarkson”.
His apology came soon after, claiming that he meant no offence with the action.
While some may feel it an honour to have Clarkson naming his ‘best friend’ after them, some may feel it insulting to have a ‘black dog’ named after a ‘black man’.
